Paddle with the Pros

Join us at each event for the chance to paddle alongside some of the world’s top surf kayakers from Team Hobson and Team Ride. They'll be there to offer expert tips, share tricks of the trade, provide valuable advice, and inspire your surf kayaking adventure.

Coaching

While there won’t be formal coaching sessions, the focus is on shared learning. We'll all be coaching each other both on and off the water, offering tips, advice, and feedback.

We are also lucky enough to have Paul Bramble from PB Paddlesports there for the weekend to offer his expert advise and tips. If you are interested in getting some 1-2-1 coaching or training check out - www.pbpaddlesports.co.uk/

How much does it cost?

The weekend gathering is free to attend! Please note that camping, food and travel expenses  are not included in the event, so plan accordingly.

Where to stay

Our base for the weekend will be Llangennith Beach, offering a campsite, restaurant, onsite shop, restrooms, and static caravans, along with hot showers and all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay.

If you prefer other options, there are several campsites along the stunning Gower Peninsula, as well as nearby B&Bs and hotels.

Who can come

Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned surf kayaker, everyone is welcome! These events are open to all skill levels, so whether you're looking to learn the basics, refine your technique, or just enjoy some time on the water with fellow paddlers, there's something for everyone. Come join the fun!

What do I need

- Kayak: Bring your own kayak, and you can also demo one of ours.

- Paddle: Don’t forget your paddle!

- Kit: Appropriate gear for a day in the water, including wetsuit, helmet, and PFD (personal flotation device).

- Good Vibes: A positive attitude and readiness to have fun!

Want to help out?

We’re seeking qualified coaches to join us and support the kayaking community by sharing their expertise in a laid-back, informal setting.

We're also looking for photographers to help capture the excitement of the weekend, both on and off the water.
